What We Do & What We Don't

The more complex your financial life becomes, the easier it is for important details to fall between the cracks.

Your accountant handles one piece. Your attorney handles another. Your insurance professional handles another.

Your business and real estate interests create even more moving parts.

The problem is often not the quality of the professionals around you.

It is that nobody is responsible for making sure all the pieces work together.

That is where we come in.

01

Financial Organization

Imagine having one place where you can see the important pieces of your financial life.

Your bank and investment accounts. Business entities and filings. Properties and documents. Insurance policies and renewal dates. Estate documents. Loan terms. Professional contacts. Important deadlines.

We build this system during onboarding and maintain it continuously.

It is also organized so that if your spouse or another trusted person ever needs to step in, they can find what they need without searching through filing cabinets, old emails, computer folders, and multiple online portals.

You get: a complete inventory of what you own and owe, a documented calendar of important deadlines, and one organized location for records that may currently be scattered across multiple places.

02

Tax Oversight & Planning

Taxes should not only be discussed after the year is over.

We review your filed returns to identify what may have been missed, while also looking ahead at decisions that could affect what you owe in the future.

That can include owner compensation, distributions, estimated payments, entity structure, upcoming purchases or sales, and the tax consequences of financial decisions you are considering right now.

Tax planning is available as part of the ongoing family office relationship or as a standalone engagement.

You get: a written plan outlining specific positions, the reasoning behind them, and clear responsibility for what needs to happen next.

Areas of focus include: entity structure, payroll, owner compensation and distributions measured against actual operations; real estate holdings and dispositions; estate planning coordination; and probate, conservatorship, and fiduciary accounting.

03

Money-Leak Reviews

Some financial problems are obvious.

Others quietly cost you money month after month or year after year.

We systematically look for expenses and inefficiencies that may no longer be serving you, including:

  • Duplicate services across entities
  • Interest that could potentially be restructured
  • Account and platform fees nobody has reviewed
  • Vendor agreements renewing automatically
  • Insurance coverage you may be paying for twice
  • Deductions lost because supporting documentation never reached the person preparing the return

Small leaks can become expensive when they continue for years.

You get: an itemized list of what we found, the annual dollar value of each item,

and what needs to happen to stop it.

04

Business & Real Estate Performance Reviews

Owning several businesses, entities, or properties can produce plenty of reports without answering the question that matters most:

What is actually making you money?

We look beyond the statements to help determine which businesses and properties are producing usable cash, which are consuming it, and what factors may be affecting the result.

You get: a property-by-property and entity-by-entity picture of real return, including the owner activity, debt structure, and tax treatment that affect it.

05

Implementation Management

A good strategy has very little value if it never gets implemented.

And that is where a surprising amount of planning breaks down.

The attorney is waiting for a document. The accountant is waiting for the attorney. Someone needs a signature. Everyone assumes someone else is handling the next step.

Months later, the recommendation still has not been completed.

We turn recommendations into specific tasks with an owner, a due date, and documented follow-up.

Cathi coordinates the professionals involved, follows up on outstanding items, and keeps you informed about where everything stands.

You get: completed work rather than another list of recommendations — along with a record of what was completed and when.

What We Do NOT Do

  • We do not manage investments.
  • We do not sell insurance.
  • We do not earn commissions, and we do not accept compensation from anyone other than our clients.

That matters because our role is to help you evaluate your options objectively.

When a strategy calls for a financial product or another professional service, we help you evaluate it and coordinate with the professionals providing it.
